Vinh Nguyen is an MFA graduate student from the Rochester Institute of Technology. His study was predominantly in the craft of 2D Animation. In his final year of graduate school, he has crafted animated films of many varieties ranging from 2D animated to Experimental.Born in Rochester, NY, Nguyen’s childhood was filled with anime in which he formed a deep passion for which led to his love for art. Ever since he was a kid his journey was to always put his stories onto paper and bring them to life. Eventually, that medium of storytelling evolved into animation.Presently, Nguyen has been branching out into other avenues such as documentary storytelling. He has a desire to tell the stories of others who don’t necessarily have the means to.
